Whether you have your sights set on Colburn, Juilliard, or your local state college, the College Audition Prep on-line string camp will help you break through technical limitations, focus on the specifics of required repertoire for auditions, and give you the structure that you need to be your best when it matters the most. CAP is for violinists, violists and cellists preparing for college or graduate school auditions. All sessions are held online via zoom. You will receive daily mentoring with Dr. Mick Wetzel and other instrument specialists including Juilliard grad and Los Angeles Philharmonic violinist Stacy Wetzel, and Lyceum Music Festival director and former BYU faculty Kayson Brown as well as special guests Cynthia Phelps New York Philharmonic principal viola and Juilliard faculty. Jim Harrick former Head Coach of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship UCLAA team. Plus decision-makers from top schools across the West.
