Lissa Stolz is Oboist and English Hornist for the Utah Symphony. She played English horn with the Louisiana Philharmonic for three seasons. Originally from Iowa, she studied with Alex Klein and Grover Schiltz at the Chicago College of Performing Arts of Roosevelt University. She played for three seasons with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, which included a performance at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Daniel Barenboim. While in Chicago, Lissa enjoyed performing frequently with the Chicago Symphony and the Grant Park Music Festival Orchestra. She has also performed with the Spoleto Festival Orchestra, the Omaha, Charleston and Sarasota Symphonies.
